I notice in my curves, that I have the choice of either Line or Spline, but they both look alike in the programming, what is the difference?

Line is just that, it will draw a straight line between your curve points, giving you a flatter response between these points. Spline smoothes out these points, giving you a totally smooth curve with no breaks in servo response.
