14MZ Radio System FAQ
I cannot get my transmitter to change the channel in my receiver. I am making sure that the transmitter antenna is close to the receiver antenna, and I am turning my receiver on when prompted by the transmitter message, what is going wrong?
First we suggest that you make sure your transmitter battery is charged above at least 40% or you may find that you have problems.
Second, also location where you are trying this could be a factor we have noticed that trying to do this in certain structures may interfere with transfer of the signal and prevent the information from being transferred to the receiver.
Third, if you are sure that you have full battery power, your transmitter antenna is touching your receiver antenna, and you are not in a location that may cause interference, you may want to try waiting for the third or fourth sound from the transmitter before turning on power to your receiver. You can always touch the "retry" button a couple of times if need be.
Once you do have this set, you will notice your Channel One servo twitching three times, you now have successfully changed your channel! Cycle the power on your transmitter and you are ready to fly!
